Afterwards, make your way to the mouth of the river near the waterfall to enter the subterranean Vitalys Mines.
Navigating the underground tunnels requires clearing dark rocks and Night Thorns that obstruct the main pathways. As you explore the mine system, locate the chest containing Crackling Candy, Dried Ginger, and a special recipe needed for the next objective. Be sure to interact with the sign located near the red barrel at the top of the ramp to understand how to clear the blockage.
Brewing the Fizzy Solution to Clear the River
Restoring the water flow demands a specific combination of ingredients mixed inside a cooking station. Prepare the Extra Fizzy Root Beer by combining Sugarcane, Vanilla, and the unique Dried Ginger found inside the mine. Avoid using regular ginger gathered from other biomes, as it will not generate the required reaction.
Return to the red barrel located near the blockage and place both the Extra Fizzy Root Beer and Crackling Candies inside. This triggers an explosive reaction that clears the Giant Night Thorns and allows the river to flow freely again. Once the water level rises, cross the newly accessible bridge to exit the mine safely.
Pursuing the Forgotten and Gathering Elixir Materials
Exiting the cavern triggers a cutscene where a dark figure known as The Forgotten vanishes through a portal near the skull.
